What is Memento?

Read this sentence aloud to yourself, slowly: "I shook the old man's leathery hand, as I smelled my mom's perfume in the muggy room." Did you feel the hand, smell the scent, and feel the humidity? If you did, the reason you were able to lies in a recently discovered part of the brain called the Mirror Neurons. These neurons are a system that can view or hear a certain thing happening, and triggers reactions in your body, as if it were happening to you.

By using these mirror neurons, I plan on creating a personalized book that can trigger especially vivid memories in people suffering from dementia. By using key words like the ones I used in the sample sentence, Memento can bring back the memory of someone's marriage, a special picnic in a park, whatever that person may desire, all with the power of a story.
